Ministry of Music – Linda Gatez
Linda is a longtime member of Crossfield United Church. She brings energy, creativity and heart to our music ministry. Whether playing by ear or reading music sheets, she leads us beautifully on our electronic grand piano. She helps to choose music that fits each service.
Linda also directs our choir to share special music for Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter. If you sing, play, drum, or simply love music, we’d love to have you join us!
Chair of the Board – Joanne Schwass
Joanne has been part of Crossfield United Church since 1989, teaching Sunday School and serving in many roles over the years. She has chaired the board since 2013.
The Board helps guide our church community by overseeing governance and supporting a faithful, sustainable future. Joanne is honoured to lead this dedicated team.
Finances – Lorna Derry
Lorna has lived in Crossfield for many decades and has been our treasurer for over thirty years. She is a strong supporter of the United Church of Canada and the local community. Lorna believes our church is important and enjoys interacting with people as she answers questions about all types of donations.
Like most churches, we are able to operate financially because of the generosity and commitment of our church membership. In addition, there are many community-minded people who wish to have a strong United Church presence in Crossfield. We appreciate everyone’s continued and generous support.
